Livestock Sector: Efforts for boosting livestock production

Efforts are being made for expansion of livestock breeding and boosting production in Bago Region.

On May 16, Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation Dr Ye Tun Win met with livestock breeders in Taungoo and Yedashe Townships and discussed the need for development of the sector. During the visit, the Deputy Minister visited the poultry farms, piggery and dairy farms, and instructed for ensuring bio-safety and prevention of animal diseases.
