The government, under the guidance of the Head of State, is working to ensure that citizens have legal ownership rights to the land they live on.

The General Administration Department under the Ministry of Home Affairs is implementing the process of issuing village land grants. This program aims to support the economic, social, and peaceful stability of families by giving them official land ownership documents.

On Sunday, 75 residents in Nat Sin Kone Village received official land grant documents covering 12.75 acres.

Chief Minister of Magway Region U Tin Ko Ko attended the ceremony and said legal land ownership will strengthen the local economy and help fund infrastructure such as roads, schools, hospitals, water, and electricity. With these grants, villagers can legally own their land and houses, expand businesses, and access bank services.
