Legal Affairs: Implementation of Pilot Law Offices in Mandalay Region

Union Minister for Legal Affairs and Union Attorney General Dr Thida Oo on 20th June inspected the Meikhtila Township Law Office. The facility is being upgraded as the implementation of Pilot Law Office.

She also inspected Pilot Law Offices in Pyin Oo Lwin District and Chanayethasan Township. The Union Minister then met with Law officers at the hall of Regional Advocate General Office, and explained the purpose of opening of the Pilot Law Offices. She then inspected the upgraded Pilot Law Offices.

It is learnt that the Pilot Law Offices were opened, aiming to transform manual to digitization system for registration, documenting and reporting, to expedite the tasks of Prosecuting officers and  Law Officers through digital system, and to perform Pre-Trial Interview(PTI).
