




The Mandalay Region Chief Minister Wunna Kyaw Htin U Maung Ko inspected the status of completing laying heat insulated marbles on the platform of Maha Lawka Marazein Kuthodaw pagoda in Aung Myay Thar Zan Township in the morning on Saturday and the chairman and members of pagoda board of trustee clarified the status of work completion.
Next, the chief minister instructed necessaries including to complete works neatly within the timeframe, carry out cleaning and pleasantness for the pilgrims and perform the all-renovation works of the pagoda in line with the procedures and supplemented and coordinated requirements.
The project of laying heat insulated marbles on the platform of Maha Lawka Marazein Kuthodaw pagoda was instructed by the Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing during his visit to the pagoda on November 3rd, 2021. The project is being implemented by No (951) military construction engineering unit and Myanmar Sitthugyi Company. The area of the pagoda flatform to be laid with insulated marbles is 76609 square feet amd about 150900 one square foot marble slabs will be used. For the time being, the work has been completed at 35 percent, it’s reported.
