Launching of school enrollment week: MGY CM opened enrollment week campaign billboard

Magway Region Government Chief Minister U Tint Lwin together with regional-level officials attended the launching ceremony of the 2025–2026 School Enrollment Week Campaign Billboard Installation, held in front of the Magway Region Education Office, On May 15.

The Chief Minister, senior civil and military officials inaugurated the billboard with the slogan read “Let’s Enroll All School-Age Children to Ensure Continuous Learning” by cutting a ceremonial ribbon, and spraying scented water on it.  

Then, the Chief Minister and officials, together with the teachers, students, and department representatives in attendance took a commemorative group photo to mark the occasion.

As part of the School Enrollment Week, basic education schools across the Magway Region will be accepting student enrollment from May 22 to June 1. During this enrollment period, no fees will be collected from students. Additionally, schools will provide free prescribed textbooks, writing materials, blank notebooks, and one set of school uniforms for primary-level students.
