Hong Kong's Chief Executive said Sunday that the government is reviewing the possibility of relaxing strict COVID measures as new infections were trending downward and could announce new details Monday.

Carrie Lam, Hong Kong Chief Executive said "But having gone through a month and having gone through the peak, that you have seen here, I think a responsible government should regularly and vigorously review these measures, to see whether there is room for adjustment," Lam said she would present the findings on Monday.

Hong Kong continues to isolate itself from most international travel, and maintains a "dynamic zero COVID" policy.
