Kosovo’s tomato capital hosts International Tomato festival

Mamusha, Kosovo’s only Turkish-majority municipality and the country’s leading tomato-producing region, hosted its 17th International Tomato Festival, attracting visitors from across the Balkans and Türkiye. The festival featured traditional cuisine, folk dances and live music. Kosovo’s Acting President Albulena Haxhiu attended the event in support of local farmers.

The festival aims to promote Mamusha’s agricultural sector, strengthen the local farming economy and preserve the municipality’s cultural traditions with support from international development partners.
