Korean Donation: BOC/SK and Kookmin Banks Donate COVID-19 Test Kits

The BOC/ SK and Kookmin Banks of the Republic of Korea donated COVID-19 test kits to the Ministry of Health and Sports with a ceremony at the Department of Medical Research (DMR) in Yangon on Saturday.

On the occasion. Korean Ambassador to Myanmar Lee Sang Hwa gave an opening speech and the Director-General of the DMR extended greetings.

Well-wishers; the Chief Representative of KB & Kookmin Bank Yangon and the General Manager of SK explained about the purpose of the donation.

At the ceremony, BOC/SK donated test kits worth 48,000 USD for 4000 people and KB & Kookmin Bank donated test kits for 3000 people and Viral Transport Medium (VTM) cost 100,000 USD to the Ministry of Health and Sports for the COVID-19 prevention and control measures.
