Kishida urges strong partnership with Australia

Japan's Prime Minister Fumio Kishida said that Japan and Australia need to further strengthen their own partnership to realize a free and open Indo-Pacific.His remarks came during the bilateral meeting between Japan and Australia, which was held after the Quadrilateral Security Dialogue (Quad) summit in Tokyo.Kishida congratulated Australia's newly-elected Prime Minister Anthony Albanese for his victory and appreciated him for joining the meetings shortly after he took office.
