Israeli PM Netanyahu says gave order to 'search' Palestinian villages in West Bank

At a cabinet meeting in Jerusalem on Sunday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he ordered the military to search Palestinian villages in the occupied West Bank, seize weapons and make arrests following deadly clashes between Israeli settlers and Palestinians.

Netanyahu said Israeli forces had already carried out operations, including a raid on a hospital in Nablus where two alleged accomplices were arrested. He added that the military had sealed the home of a suspected attacker and prepared it for demolition. He said Israel was also prepared to expand operations against what he described as militant networks in the West Bank. Netanyahu is set to travel to Washington on 27th July to meet US President Donald Trump and discuss regional issues.
