Israel, Lebanon resume US-mediated talks in Rome

Israel and Lebanon resumed U.S.-mediated technical talks in Rome on Tuesday.

This seventh round of negotiations focuses on implementing a late-June framework agreement, establishing "pilot zones" in southern Lebanon, coordinating Israeli troop withdrawals, and addressing the status and disarmament of Hezbollah. The three-day talks bring together technical delegations from both sides under a trilateral mechanism backed by the United States.
