Israel, DRC say 'strengthening partnership' during FM Jerusalem visit

Israel and the Democratic Republic of Congo have signed two memoranda of understanding on diplomatic training and political dialogue, with both sides pledging to expand cooperation.

The agreements were signed by Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar and DR Congo Foreign Minister Therese Kayikwamba Wagner.  Gideon Saar, Israeli Foreign Minister said "Israel stands with its friends in good times, but also in bad times. The DRC also stands with Israel. We deeply appreciate your support.” According to DR Congo Foreign Minister, the partnership will focus on areas including investment, innovation, agriculture, healthcare, education and technology.
