Iraq, Türkiye sign agreement to transport crude oil exports via Ceyhan port

Iraq and Turkiye signed a one-year agreement on Saturday, to transport a minimum of 750,000 barrels of crude oil per day through the two nations’ pipeline to the Ceyhan port. According to the Iraqi Oil Ministry, the deal replaces an expired accord to help Baghdad diversify export routes. It also serves as an alternative outlet amid regional disruptions affecting southern Gulf shipping lanes.
