Iranian president receives Iraqi PM in Tehran

On Thursday, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian officially received Iraqi Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi at the Sa'dabad Palace in Tehran.

Discussions focus on expanding political, economic, trade, transit, and energy cooperation between Tehran and Baghdad. The two leaders also talked about regional stability, counter-terrorism coordination, and managing regional tension amid recent U.S.-Iran escalations. The agenda included joint high-level delegation sessions and the signing of several bilateral cooperation agreements.
