Iranian military spokesman warns Israel to stop attacks on Lebanon

The Iranian Army and Revolutionary Guard have issued strong warnings to Israel following its strikes on Beirut and the interception of Iranian missiles. A top Iranian military spokesperson said in a televised message on Sunday that Iran has “previously warned that if the crime in Beirut’s Dahieh expanded, we would strike targets in the occupied territories.”

Ebrahim Zolfaghari, spokesperson for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, added that Israel has “crossed all red lines and increased its attacks in southern Lebanon”, and “committed atrocities” and “targeted Beirut.”
