Investment Affairs: Sagaing Region Investment Committee Held Meeting

Sagaing Region Investment Committee held its meeting on 16th February. Chairman of the Committee, Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw discussed that the committee’s previous meeting approved a garment industry in TinTeik Village-tract in Sagaing, and it creates over 500 job opportunities.

The region is also inviting the entrepreneurs to make investments in fertilizer manufacturing, agriculture, livestock breeding and production of value-added products.

The regional economic minister and officials reported on the investment proposals, and work undertakings. The meeting later discussed  the process of application for vacant lands for agriculture purpose, and environmental conservation awareness.
