


A Seminar on “Let’s Talk with Japanese Ambassador to Myanmar Mr. Ichiro Maruyama” was conducted through ZOOM online platform at the Japan Foundation, Yangon on Tuesday.
The Japanese Culture Centre-Japan Foundation organized the interactive program to make questioning and discussing with Japanese Ambassador to Myanmar Mr. Ichiro Maruyama and the Japanese Language Learners in Myanmar through Zoom Application.
Ambassador, Japanese Embassy in Myanmar, H.E. Ichiro Maruyama said "Today I met with Japanese Language Learners in Myanmar. I’m really appreciated with having such skillful youth in Japanese Language. They will remarkably lead to boost Japan-Myanmar friendship and ties in the future. They are really assets of human resource for the governments and people of two countries. So, today I talk directly with them via online."
The 11 Japanese Language Learners from various fields like students, teachers, company staffs as well as business person and medical doctor joined the program. They raised personal queries to the Ambassador and from him; they took suggestions and explanations regarding Myanmar youth and Japanese language learners, and Japan-Myanmar friendship plus Covid-19 situation.
Ambassador, Japanese Embassy in Myanmar, H.E. Ichiro Maruyama said "I explained them that Myanmar is a benefactor, friendship and valuable county for Japan, so we really treature the Japan-Myanmar friendship. Therefore, those youth who are skillful in Japanese Language will promote the friendship between the two countries and the people in the future. Although Myanmar is facing the challenges in the economic and political affairs, and I gave message them that Myanmar is sure to develop more in the future because of having such Japanese Language skillful youth and trying hard for the country, Myanmar."
Also, the ambassador said that those who are eager to go to Japan for scholarship, Japanese Embassy in Myanmar will provide necessary assistance to go to Japan as quickly as possible.
