Inspection of Water Entering Condition: YGN Region CM inspected water entering in Aphauk Town

Yangon Region Chief Minister U Aung Naing Thu and Region Government members inspected the situation in the afternoon on Sunday, regarding water from the Ayeyawady River entering the spur-dykes embankment from Mile Post 44/2 of the Aphyauk အဖျောက် riverbank embankment in Kyway Bagan Chaung Village Tract, Aphyauk Town, Taikkyi District, Yangon Region, due to the rising water level of the Ayeyawady River. They also inspected the deployment of water monitoring posts and gave necessary instructions to the responsible officials.

They provided rice, cooking oil, eggs, instant noodles, cartons of purified drinking water, large drinking-water bottles and medicines to 428 households from Yay Le Gyi Village and Tharawaw Village, where Ayeyawady River water was entering the villages at the top of the spur-dykes embankment at the Ohn Pin Kwin irrigation and riverbank area in Ohn Pin Kwin Village Tract, Aphyauk. They also cordially greeted the residents.

Next, the Chief Minister and officials attended the opening ceremony of the Yangon Motorsport Complex (YMC), located beside Road No. (7), in BarlarVillage Tract, Hlegu Township, Yangon Region. The Chief Minister cut the ribbon to formally open the complex and delivered an opening address.

Afterwards, Chief Minister and officials watched a demonstration drive by a drift racing champion from Thailand at the YMC Workshop and driving training track, it is reported.
