Inspection Trip: SWRR Union Minister makes inspections in Mandalay

Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr. Thet Thet Khine made inspections in Mandalay Region.

First, the Union Minister visited the Patheingyi youth training school, heard report on the training programmes and stressed the importance of implementation of the objectives of the school, the need to adopt an accessment system and hold a workshop with stakeholders and security measures.

She also inspected the school’s vocational training and domestic trainng condition and met with the trainees. Also, the Union Minister inspected the Mandalay youth training school and heard reports on capacity, the current number of trainees and training programmes.

In her response, the Union Minister called for acceleration of security measures and training programmes to help the youth get jobs. There, she also inspected the school’s training condition, food and accomodation and held talks with the trainees.

The Union Minister continued her inspection trip to the training school for youth with disabilities in Aungmyethazan Township, heard reports and gave necessary instructions including cooperation with relevant departments for handicrafts market.

The Union Minister also visited the Kha Yay Yeik beauty salon opened by women development department in Chanayethazan Township, inspected the Department and gave necessary instructions.
