Inspection Tour: SAC Chairman inspects development works in POL

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing made inspection tour in Pyin Oo Lwin on Wednesday. On arrival at the Sin Lan Dam, the Prime Minister inspected the condition to upgrade the dam for sufficient supply of water to Pyin Oo Lwin.

The Prime Minister and party later visited No.3 Basic Education High School and viewed the students learning at the classrooms and school library. In meeting with the teachers, the Prime Minister stressed to nurture the students to be equipped with the patriotic and nationalistic fervor in addition to academic teaching.

He added that the government is providing welfare assistance for the teaching staff, and urged all to strive for turning out qualified new generation for better future. The Prime Minister later presented books and periodicals for the school library.

They then proceeded to No.1 Basic Education Middle School (Branch High School), and observed the students learning at the classrooms for academic lectures as well as livestock, agriculture and technical subjects. At the construction site of Thu Mingala (Nyan Taw) Market, the Prime Minister heard reports on construction progress, along with the efforts for development of Pyin Oo Lwin area and implementation of Yadanapon Satellite Town.

Upon the reports, the Prime Minister stressed the needs to make efforts for reforestation for greening of Pyin Oo Lwin area and systematic land utilization. He called for collaboration of all concerned personnel for sustainable development of Pyin Oo Lwin, so as to hand down the legacy of better environment to the new generation. The Prime Minister later inspected the construction site of the new market.
