Inspection tour: MoST Union Minister took inspection tour

Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr. Myo Thein Kyaw accompanied by the officials from the Ministry inspected the technological universities, universities of computer studies, State Institute of Technology and State Technological High Schools in Yangon, Bago and Magway regions from 17th to 20th August.

On 17th August, the Union Minister visited University of Information Technology and Universities of Technology in Yangon Region, met with the rectors and faculty members and inspected the construction works.

On 18th August, Union Minister visited Technological University (Hmawbi) in Yangon Region, Technological University (Pyay) and University of Computer Studies (Pyay) in Bago Region, gave necessary instructions and fulfilled requirements upon the reports of the rectors, pro-rectors, principals and faculty members and inspected construction works of convocation hall of Pyay Technological University and implementation of construction in State Institute of Technology (Pyay).

On 19th August, the Union Minister visited Technological University, State Technological High School in Magway and University of Computer Studies (Magway), State Institute of Technology (Magway) and State Institute of Technology (Yay Nan Chaung) on 20th August, met with the pro-rector and principals and fulfilled requirements.

During the trip, the Union Minister inspected the learning and studying of the students, practical experiments at the practical labs, sports activities, dormitories and mess halls and gave necessary instructions.

Afterward, the Union Minister visited biogas digester tank No (2/2023) of the Daily Integrated Farm in Magyikan  Village closely supervised by the Bago Region Chief Minister and  provided technological assistance by the Technological University (Magway) gave necessary instruction and coordinated requirements.
