Inspection tour: MOI UM inspected training and printing textbooks

The Union Minister of the Ministry of Information, U Maung Maung Ohn, in the afternoon on 15th January, inspected the training of the receptionists who will participate in the 2023 Myanmar Film Academy Awards ceremony in Myanmar Motion Picture Organization in Wingabar Road and printing of school textbooks at the photolitho printing press in Bahan Township and the site of the Doyen Literati Beikman to be built in Mingalar Taung Nyunt Township.

In his words of encouragement giving to the receptionists who are attending the training, the Union Minister said that this is the day which pours the new blood for Myanmar Motion Picture world, as the receptionists are the young people, they need to make effort for being the youth who are liable for the country as well as to pursue the good morale and ethics, the government is addressing for the youth to be able to participate in the development processes of the government for the development of the youth, it's needed to try hard to be successful artistes in the future with the confidence and attitude as well as comply with the law and regulations, it’s to be downhearted to see some artistes’ actions and stance in taking advantage of their success without considering the interests of the country and people, by taking lesson on them, all are urged to put effort to be future generation who have good morale and can contribute to the film world.

Next, the Union Minister inspected the status of printing school textbooks at the photolitho printing press in Bahan Township, heard the reports of the factory in-charge and the Director General of the Printing and Publishing Department and gave the necessary instruction.

Then, the Union Minister inspected the site of the three-storey Doyen Literati Beikman to be built in Mingalar Taung Nyunt Township, heard the clarification of the Director General of the Printing and Publishing Department regarding with the model of the building and the space of the land plot and gave the necessary instruction.

The initial agreement on the construction of three-storey Doyen Literati Beikman with the assistance and grant of the government of India has been received and the contract of agreement on the project will be signed with the government of India. The estimate cost for the construction of the building is 7.918 billion Kyats, it’s learnt.
