Inspection Tour: MOEA Union Minister tours in Yangon

Union Minister for Ethnic Affairs Khun Thant Zaw Htoo visited Yangon Region Director’s Office of the ministry on 9th May.

During the visit, the Union Minister inspected the work undertakings, condition of office buildings and completion of earth works for car parking. On the 10th, the Union Minister visited the Union National Races Village, and inspected the traditional food stalls.

He also viewed the completion of dredging works being implemented by the allocation of Union Budget for 2024-2025 fiscal year. He also inspected the sanitary measures at the staff housing and the hostel to be renovated in 2025-2026 fiscal year.

He also observed the Nan Myint Tower and instructed for renovation works through the approval of engineering aspects. In meeting with the staff, the Union Minister urged all to make cooperative efforts for completion of the projects, ensuring pleasant environ to provide better recreational facilities to the visitors.
