Inspection Tour: Development works in Ayeyawady Region

Member of the State Administration Council Mahn Nyein Maung together with Ayeyawady Region Chief Minister U Tin Maung Win and officials on May 15 inspected rubber cultivation and coffee plantation at Thein La Gat Su village in Myaung Mya Township.

There, SAC member and the Chief Minister instructed to make collaborative efforts among experts and entrepreneurs for sustainable development of coffee cultivation, to achieve targeted yield through  practicing of mixed-cropping agriculture system.

During the meeting with locals, the council member urged all to support their children in pursuing education and to live in unity among national people. Upon the reports of the locals, the council member and the Chief Minister coordinated the requirement.

Next, the council member and party enjoyed the final match of the 2025 Chief Minister Cup U-25 Inter-Region Men/Women Vollyball Competition. And, prizes were awarded to the winning teams and best players.    

Later, the council member and party attended the opening ceremony of new concrete road at Mya Kan Tha Ward. They formally opened the new facility by cutting ceremonial ribbon and strolled along the newly inaugurated road. They later proceeded to at Kyone War Cultivation Education Camp and attended a ceremony to provide paddy seeds, sunn hump species and Drum Seeder to the farmers.

On arrival at Kan Kwin village tract in Wakema Township, the council member and party met with local farmers and provided paddy species for 2025-2026 monsoon paddy cultivation season. Then, the council member visited the poultry farm in Pyapon Ta Man village in Pyapon Township and provided anti-bacterial spray for the farm.
