Inspection Tour : Agriculture and irrigation works in Bago Region

Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win, accompanied by regional ministers, made a field inspection in Bago on 12th April.

At Kadwin Chan Village, the Chief Minister and officials inspected the clearing of water way along Oho Bo Creek to access sufficient irrigated water for summer paddy fields and completion of dredging works. He instructed to maintain the smooth water flow along the creek, to utilize water effectively, and to cultivate value-added Paw San rice variety that suitable for the region.

Then, the Chief Minister and party visited the construction site of Bago River embankment where the Chief Minister stressed to monitor the strength of embankments regularly  for flood prevention , while also using it as inter-village road. He also urged to only use the designated roads to connect to the embankment.
