






The Chairman of Myanmar Olympic Committee, Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs, Jeng Phang Nawtaung, along with responsible officials, visited the Myanmar Rowing and Canoeing Federation’s training camp on Inya Road in Yangon in the evening on June 10.
They were welcomed by the federation’s president and responsible personnel. The visit was part of preparations for the 33rd SEA Games, where preliminary national selection athletes training in events such as slalom, western-style boats, traditional boats, and canoe/kayak were observed and evaluated. The Union Minister listened to the needs and feedback of the federation officials and coaches.
Following this, the Union Minister and officials visited several other federations and facilities including Myanmar Hockey Federation, Kickboxing Federation in Thein Phyu Sports Hall, and the Myanmar Judo Federation located at the U Wisara National Swimming Pool complex.
They met with coaches and preliminary national selection athletes, encouraging them to maintain discipline, strong morale, and unity while striving for excellence in standards and performance. They urged everyone to persevere until the very end of competitions, report difficulties promptly, and collaborate across all sectors to achieve success and bring honor to the nation.
