





Union Minister for Education, Dr. Nyunt Pe, along with deputy ministers and relevant officials, visited basic education schools in the Nay Pyi Taw Council Area, on Tuesday, to inspect preparations being made ahead of the June school reopening for the upcoming academic year, as well as to observe and encourage students who are peacefully studying intensively for the 2025 matriculation examination.
The Union Minister provided guidance and instructions on necessary matters during the visits. The Union Minister first visited Nyaung Pin Thar Basic Education High School, Basic Education High School No. (4), and Basic Education High School No. (2) in Pyinmana Township.
During the inspections, the Union Minister gave instructions to officials on key focus areas that require special attention and ensured necessary arrangements were in place. He then observed subject-specific extra classes being conducted by university professors and basic education teachers for students preparing to retake the 2025 matriculation exam, encouraging both teachers and students.
He also delivered motivational remarks to the students. After that, the Union Minister toured the school premises, met warmly with supporters, university lecturers, schoolteachers, and nurses from the Ministry of Health’s school clinic, and coordinated with relevant personnel to address and fulfill any remaining needs.
