Inspection of schools: Kayah State CM inspected preparations of schools

In preparation for the reopening of basic education schools in Kayah State, necessary arrangements are currently being carried out. On May 7, Chief Minister U Zaw Myo Tin, along with members of the state government and responsible officials, inspected the preparatory activities for the reopening of Daw-U-Khu (Post-Primary) School and Primary School (Minsu) School, as well as ongoing renovation work at departmental offices and staff housing.

First, the Chief Minister and officials visited Daw-U-Khu (Post-Primary) School and Minsu Primary School, in Loikaw. They inspected the readiness of school offices, classrooms, and staff housing for the upcoming school term. The State Education Officer and other responsible personnel provided explanations and updates on the preparations.

The Chief Minister provided guidance regarding the needs and expressed encouragement after observing the collaborative efforts of departmental staff in maintaining cleanliness and order within the school premises.

After that, the Chief Minister inspected the Township Traditional Medicine Department office and the traditional clinic in Shwe Taung Ward, Loikaw. Noting that these are frequently visited public spaces, he instructed relevant officials to quickly carry out necessary repairs to ensure effective healthcare services.

Later, the Chief Minister and officials visited the State Customs Department office. They assessed the situation to ensure that both the state and township customs offices can reopen and operate smoothly. They also inspected the state office and a two-story, four-unit staff housing building to evaluate the necessary repairs for the convenience of department staff. Instructions were given to promptly implement the required renovation work, and coordination was carried out to address the identified needs.
