




Union Minister for the Ministry of Science and Technology, Dr. Myo Thein Kyaw, together with Deputy Minister Dr. Aung Zeya and officials from relevant departments, visited Naypyitaw State Polytechnic University on June 3rd.
The visit was to observe and encourage the first, second- and third-year students who are currently sitting for their midterm examinations for the 2024–2025 academic year in engineering, architecture, computer science, and computer technology courses.
These courses had previously been suspended due to the powerful Mandalay earthquake. Next, the Union Minister inspected the classrooms, computer labs, modern practical equipment, language labs, and ICT facilities. He assessed the readiness of the university to implement teaching and learning through the Learning Management System (LMS).
He also visited the library and gave guidance to ensure that teaching and learning activities can resume effectively and without disruption after the exams, and emphasized the importance of creating a conducive learning environment so that students can continue their studies smoothly.
