Inspection of main substation: MoEP UM inspected main substation in Namhsan

Union Minister for Electric Power U Nyan Tun, together with relevant departmental officials, inspected the electricity transmission and distribution operations of the Namhsan Main Substation in Namhsan Township, Shan State (South), on the morning of June 16.

In the afternoon, he attended a coordination meeting held at the State Electrical Engineer's Office in Taunggyi, where discussions were held with state, district, and township electrical engineers and staff regarding the status of electricity distribution across Shan State (South).

At the meeting, the State Electrical Engineer presented reports on the current status of operations and explained the reconstruction and restoration progress of power lines and substations that were damaged by the earthquake in the Inlay region, as well as the present situation of electricity distribution capabilities. In response to the presentations, the Union Minister gave necessary instructions, held open discussions with staff, addressed their needs, and provided cash assistance.
