Inspection of livestock breeding: SAC Chairman inspected fish breeding project

The Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing accompanied by the council joint-secretary Lt. Gen. Ye Win Oo, council members, Admiral Tin Aung San, Union Ministers, senior military officials from the office of the commander in chief, and officials inspected the work implementations of Global Earth Agro & Aqua Industry Public Co., Ltd in Pantanaw Township, Ayeyarwady Region in the afternoon on February 6.

First, the Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister and party was welcome by the Ayeyarwady Region Chief Minister U Tin Maung Win, Commander of South-West Command Brigadier General Kyi Khaing, chairman of Global Earth Agro & Aqua Industry Public Co., Ltd U Htay Myint and responsible persons.

At the clarification hall, chairman of Global Earth Agro & Aqua Industry Public Co., Ltd U Htay Myint clarified the work implementations to the Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister and party. He explained the launching of the project and implementations of the fish breeding basic industrial business, status of implementing with the visions in line with the objectives laid down by the state, the work processes included in the agricultural, livestock breeding based industrial business and the implementation under the work processes, Stages of implementations of the Smart Hatchery & Nursery, experimental works of Smart Grow Out Farm and results, records of initiating construction works, work process of constructing Feed Factory in line with the international standards, under the implementation of Seafood Processing & Cold Storage Plant, allocating the staff housing, office buildings and road and bridges, establishing Biomass Power Plant and reliance on own generated electricity etc.

In responding to the clarification, the SAC Chairman Prime Minister queried what he wanted to know on the implementation of fish breeding, status of yielding, market share, employment of staff and fulfillment and gave a suggested guidance including efforts of the government to promote the domestic economy of the country based on the agriculture and livestock, encouragement of the agro-based production and industries, the livestock breeding of poultry, pig, goat, cow and fish should be prioritized and the systematic and modern livestock breeding should be adopted.

The country’s prosperity and food security are the two national objectives. The SAC Chairman Prime Minister added the implementation for the human resource development including high education and vocational education and and appreciated the project and advised to implement such project in all regions and states and the state will provide necessary assistance in line with the procedure etc. Then, the SAC Chairman Prime Minister signed on the guest book. Afterward, the SAC Chairman Prime Minister planted a Gantgaw tree and the SAC joint secretary, SAC member, commander in chief (Navy) and Commander in Chief (Air) also planted the memorable trees.

Then, the senior general and party viewed the display of Myanmar endemic freshwater fingerlings and asked what he wanted to know upon the clarifications. Afterward, the senior general and party viewed the work process in Smart Hatchery & Nursery. Next, the chairman of Global Earth Agro & Aqua Industry Public Co., Ltd clarified the construction of Biomass Power Plant, constructing fish feed factory, advance meat fish breeding with Circular Tank etc. In responding to the clarification, the Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister asked about what he wanted to know and gave necessary suggestions.
