





Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn observed Garment Factory (PyinOo Lwin) of Myanmar Economic Holding Limited and BE Fall in the afternoon and the Mingalar (Mandalay) Urban Housing Project in the evening on Sunday.
First, the Union Minister and party arrived at Garment Factory (PyinOo Lwin) of Myanmar Economic Holding Limited and observed the manufacturing and selling SMART branded shirts and bought some.The factory was established in 2015 with the installation of high quality machines and equipments made in Korea and imported colorful fabrics, manufactured Export Quality products, selling them in domestic market including the super markets and malls in retail and wholesale system and it’s a successful industry gaining profits annually.
Next, the Union Minister and party visitd B-E Fall and cordially greeted the weekend vacationers. Then, the Union Minister and party took the Sky cable Car and the responsible officials explained that the service program was opened on the Union Day which falls on February 2.
The 36 Sky cable Cars are provided by the aerial line which is 553.642 meters long nad 34.8 meters above the ground supported by 6 pillars. there is a carrier capacity of 4 passengers per cable car. The round trip ride of cable car takes 24 minutes with each 12 minutes of up and down and charges 5000 Kyats per passenger for round trip.
On the weekends, there are usually about 10,000 passengers and about 450 ones on the weekdays. After walking on sky Glass Bridge and observing the skill show of teemed elephants were enjoyed and cordially greeted the children and the weekend vacationers.
In the evening, the Union Minister and party arrived at the Mingalar (Mandalay) Urban Housing Project and looked round the housing estate, condo apartments, rental housing under construction, integration with temporary terminal and housing and shop stalls, night market in the housing area and the three days trade fair organized by Mandalay Chamber of Commerce and Industries.
