Inspection of construction works: Construction project of Myanmar CDC inspected

The Union Minister for Health Professor Dr. Thet Khaing Win accompanied by the Deputy Minister Professor Dr. Aye Tun, Director General of the Department of Public Health Dr. Myint Myint Then and officials inspected the construction site of Myanmar Centers for Disease Control and Training Center for Medical Staff- Myanmar CDC implementing with the assistance provided by the People’s Republic of China in the morning on Friday.

At the meeting with the responsible officials, the Union Minister said Myanmar Centers for Disease Control and Training Center for Medical Staff- Myanmar CDC is a symbol of bilateral cooperation and friendship between Myanmar and the People’s Republic of China and it will be an essential health center for the prevention and control of infectious diseases including pandemic diseases and the Ministry of Health will provide necessaries at its best with the coordination.

Next, the assistant director of the department of public health (Central Epidemiology Unit) Dr. Myint Thein Tun clarified the implementation of the project and the responsible officials from CCCC Third Habouring Co., Ltd which is responsible for the construction works of the project explained the stages of the construction works, status of completion, requirements and the works to be done.

Then, the Union Minister and party inspected the construction works in the sites, fulfilled requirements and presented fruit basket, it’s learnt.
