Inspecting restoration of dams: MoALI DM inspected restoration efforts for dams

Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Livestock, and Irrigation U Bo Bo Kyaw and officials, on May 20, inspected the temporary repairs and planned permanent restoration efforts for the Yay Thoe Dam in Oaktwin Township and the Nga Mwe Dam in Pyu Township, which were damaged by the Mandalay earthquake. The temporary repairs and planned permanent restoration efforts were conducted under the supervision of the Water Resources Utilization and Management Department. 

During the inspection, officials presented the ongoing repair and management efforts, after which the Deputy Minister provided further instructions and discussed necessary actions. 

Additionally, the Deputy Minister examined the damage at the Nga Mwe Dam in Pyu Township, caused by the Mandalay earthquake, and discussed future action plans for necessary repairs and maintenance.
