Information Sector : Union Minister makes visits in Hyderabad of India

Union Minister for Information U Htein Lin visited and observed film production and broadcasting operations at Ramoji Film City and Eenadu Television (ETV) in Hyderabad, India, on the morning of August 16.

During the visit, he toured and studied the film infrastructure at Ramoji Film City and ETV, including film production studios, set creations, virtual effects, stunt shows and live performances, the integration of film-based tourism and entertainment at a single location, and live satellite broadcasting operations.

Later in the evening, he met with Dr. G. R. Chintala, former Chairman of the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), and Mr. Ramana Babu, Director of Indian Telephone Industries Limited (ITI). They discussed potential collaboration on informational awareness initiatives to support the development of the agricultural, rural development, and ICT sectors.

On August 17, representatives from Object One Co., Ltd. in Hyderabad presented on Over-The-Top (OTT) Platform Development, Radio, Film & TV Content Creation, and the TeluguOne Platform. Additionally, Kalgudi Co., Ltd. presented on its digital initiatives. Discussions were also held regarding potential bilateral cooperation between Myanmar and India in media, film, television broadcasting, and other related sectors.
