Immigration Process Union Minister Inspects Yangon International Airport

Union Minister for Immigration and Population U Khin Yi inspected immigration process at the Yangon International Airport on Wednesday.

First, at the Terminal-1, the Union Minister met with immigration officers from the Yangon International Airport and Yangon International Port and heard reports on international flights and immigration process at Yangon International Airport and vessels voyage at the Yangon and Thanlyin ports. In his response, the Union Minister stressed the need to understand international laws more and to complete the immigration process fast as the number of travelers increases through the online e-Visa system. After the meeting, the Union Minister inspected the immigration process, implementation of the COVID-19 prevention guidelines and gave necessary instructions.
