Immigration and Population: Meeting with Ayeyawady Region Census Committee

Chairman of the Central Committee on Supervising Ground Census Enumeration Union Minister for Immigration and Population U Myint Kyaing met with officials from the Ayeyawady Region and District Committees on Supervising Ground Census Enumeration in Pathein on Thursday.

The Union Minister discussed that Ayeyawady Region has completed the targets of all Pan Khin Projects, and at present, it is targeted to issue over 15,000 national registration cards to those reached 18 years of age under the Pan Khin Project Phase-3 which will be held until October 31.

He urged all make cooperative efforts for achieving the target within the time frame. Attendees provided update reports on scrutinizing process for accuracy of population data, implementation of Pan Khin Project Phase-3, listing the cases of displaced settlement, issuance of identity card and voters accuracy.
