Illegal Trade: Illegal goods and motorbike confiscated

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade. On the 11th and 12thof February, illegal goods including foodstuffs, clothes, sandals, motorbike parts, MDF board, rice cookers and luggage as well as unregistered motorbike worth over 553 million Kyats were confiscated at the Mayanchaung permanent checkpoint and in Monywa township.

Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
