IDB president rules out immediate resumption of loans to Venezuela

Inter-American Development Bank President Ilan Goldfajn ruled out an immediate resumption of loans to Venezuela at a press conference in Uruguay, after the bank resumed relations with Caracas after an eight-year break. "There are several things that need to be worked on before lending can resume," said Goldfajn, adding that talks between the two parties are set to continue.
