IAEA ready to help define 'concrete steps' to implement US-Iran deal

Following the recent interim agreement between the US and Iran, International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Grossi announced that the agency is ready to begin technical discussions. The UN watchdog will play an indispensable role in defining the concrete steps and verifying the nuclear-related commitments, such as the dilution of enriched uranium stocks.

The IAEA's technical work include overseeing the down-blending of highly enriched uranium in Iran to ensure it aligns with non-proliferation standards.
