Hotels and Tourism Sector: Union Minister attends 11th anniversary celebration

Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism Dr. Htay Aung attended the celebration of the 11th anniversary of Nay Pyi Taw Hotel Entrepreneurs Association on Saturday evening at Ottarathiri Hotel.

In his speech, the Union Minister highlighted the increased number of hotels in Nay Pyi Taw area and called for preparations as commercial flights and e-Visa service resumed.

He also called on attendees to adhere to the existing laws, orders and directives and urged them to apply the Hotel Guest List Management System and cooperate to make Nay Pyi Taw a green city, clean city and smart city and also for development of hotels and tourism sector in the country. 

Also, Chairman of the Nay Pyi Taw Hotel Entrepreneurs Association explained the objectives of the Association and plans. The event continued with presenting certificates of honour to chairman, vice-chairman, secretaries and executive officers of the Association.
