Honouring Ceremony: In commemoration of the 76th Anniversary Union Day

The booths and sale shops were exhibited in a grand scale at the People’s Square in Yangon in commemoration of 76th Anniversary Union Day 2023. A ceremony to honour the booth in-charges and officials of the Ministries and regions and states who took part in the event was held at the Yangon Region Government Office on Thursday.

At the ceremony, Patron of the Leading Committee for Organizing 76th Anniversary Union Day Commemorative Booths Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein extended greetings and said that with the guidance of the SAC Chairman Prime Minister, the booths representing the Ministries, Union Territory (Nay Pyi Taw), regions and states, ethnic traditional food and local product sale booths in commemoration of the Union Day were displayed for 5 days from 10th to 14th February for public study.

He also expressed thanks to officials from the Union Ministries, Nay Pyi Taw Council, Regions and states and the booths in-charges. Later, a video clip on opening the ceremony and holding the event was shown. Later, the booth in-charges gave suggestions on display of the booths on which the Chief Minister reviewed and made a concluding remark.
