






The honoring ceremony for Yangon Region representative athletes who won medals at the 33rd Southeast Asian Games and the 13th ASEAN Para Games was held at the Mingala Hall of Yangon Region Government Office in the evening of February 25th.
The ceremony was attended by Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein, Yangon Region High Court Chief Justice Daw Sandar Thwe, Region ministers, departmental officials, coaches, athletes, invited guests, and responsible officials. First, a video clip honoring the Yangon Region representative athletes who won medals at the 33rd Southeast Asian Games and the 13th ASEAN Para Games was screened.
Subsequently, Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein delivered an opening address. Following this, Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein, High Court Chief Justice DawSandar Thwe, and Region ministers presented honoraria to the athletes who had achieved success at the respective games including athletes who won 4 gold medals, 11 silver medals, and 14 bronze medals at the 13th ASEAN Para Games, as well as athletes who won gold, silver, and bronze medals at the 33rd Southeast Asian Games.
Afterwards, on behalf of the athletes, Chinlone gold medalist Ma Khine Thazin Phyo expressed words of gratitude. Then, the Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein and officials cordially greeted those in attendance.
