Honorary Title : Honorary Professorship conferred to the President

President U Min Aung Hlaing has been conferred an Honorary Professorship by the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics in Moscow, Russia.

The honorary title was presented during a ceremony held at the university’s graduation hall on Wednesday. An honorary professorship is an academic distinction awarded by a university to recognize an individual’s contributions to education, science, and international cooperation.

During the ceremony, the university formally presented the honorary professorship insignia and certificate to President U Min Aung Hlaing. The Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, commonly known as Plekhanov University, is one of Russia’s established institutions specializing in economics, business and management education.

The university is based in Moscow and has a long history of providing education and research in economics, finance, business administration and related fields. Plekhanov University has also previously awarded honorary professorships to prominent academics and international figures, reflecting its academic and international engagement.
