Honorary Award Presentation: Chin State CM delivered the speech of honor

The ceremony to present honorary awards and host a reception in celebration of the 78th Chin National Day was held on February 25th at the meeting hall of the Chin State General Administration Department in Hakha.

The ceremony was attended by Chin State Chief Minister Dr. Wong Hsun Htan and his wife, the Chief Justice of the State High Court, State ministers, the State Advocate-General, the Secretary of the State Government and their spouses, state-level departmental officials, and award-winning students.

First, the Chief Minister delivered an address, stating that this ceremony was being held because the Chin State Government wished to honour all those who had successfully organized the 78th Chin National Day celebrations. He expressed special gratitude and recognition to all individuals who had worked to successfully conduct the 78th Chin National Day festivities despite numerous challenges and difficulties.

Subsequently, the Chief Minister and responsible officials presented honorary awards and commendation prizes to recipients of the Chief Minister's Award for Distinguished Public Service, various excellence award winners, and an individual who had successfully intercepted and destroyed an FVP drone launched by a terrorist organization targeting the 78th Chin National Day celebrations.

Following this, an award presentation ceremony was held for winners of competitions held in commemoration of the 78th Chin National Day. The Chief Minister and responsible officials presented prizes to students who had won in essay writing, poetry, painting, and cartoon competitions at the higher education level, high school level, middle school level, and primary school level, as well as to winners of sports competitions, it’s reported.
