Health Care Services: MOH Union Minister visits health facilities in Lay Daunt Kan

Union Minister for Health Dr. Thet Khaing Win on Thursday along with the Head of Yangon Region Department of Public Health Dr. Nandar Win and officials visited Lay Daunt Kan Rural Health Care Center in Dagon Myo Thit (South) Township.

The Union Minister met with the health care workers, oversaw the provision of health care services to the patients and instructed for acceleration of the working processes of Urban Health Center to narrow down the heath care performance gap between urban and rural areas.

At Lay Daut Kan Station Hospital, the Union Minister and party toured around the emergency ward, out-patient ward and operation room, gave necessary instructions to the officials and provided cash assistance.

During the meeting with the doctors and health care staff, the Union Minister stated the Ministry’s efforts to fulfill the needs of the hospitals, assisting necessary medicines and medical supplies as well as implementation on upgrading process of the hospital and fulfilling the needs of staff housing.
