Greek police sprays water at stone hurling migrants

Greek police used water against dozens of migrants hurling stones at Turkey's Pazarkule border crossing with Greece on Sunday.

The border has been a flashpoint between migrants and security for days. Migrants have been waiting in the area since Turkey announced that it will no longer stop migrants trying to leave the country. Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan said on Sunday he would meet European Union officials on Monday to discuss migration, and repeated his call for more help in coping with the millions of refugees it hosts from neighbouring war-torn Syria. Turkey recently said it would no longer abide by a 2016 deal to prevent them from travelling on to the EU.
