Granting Land Lease Permits : MGY Region CM attended the event

For the 2026-2027 fiscal year, under the 100-Day activities for the benefits of the people by the Magway Township General Administration Department, a ceremony to grant village land lease permits to local residents of Kanpya (East) Village, Kanpya Village Tract, was held in on the morning of August 4 at the Magway Township Joint Office Meeting Hall. The Region Chief Minister U Tin Ko Ko attended the event, delivered an opening speech, and presented the village land lease permits to the local residents.

In the afternoon, the Chief Minister attended and delivered a speech at the coordination meeting on agricultural productivity enhancement within the region, which was held at the Region Government Office Meeting Hall.

Subsequently, the Region Minister for Agriculture, Livestock, and Irrigation stated that through inter-departmental collaboration, efforts must be made to promote the development of the region's agricultural sector.

After that, the Regional Director of Agriculture and the Regional Director of Land Records presented briefings on their respective sectors. The Region Chief Minister then coordinated with relevant departments to address the necessary matters raised during the general discussions and presentations on the agriculture and livestock sectors made by the Chairman of District Administrative Body and other attendees, it’s reported.
