




The diploma certificate, excellence awards, and job appointment letter presenting ceremony for the Diploma in Veterinary Science (One-Year Course), Batch No. (1), was held at the Centenary Hall of Yezin Agricultural University on May 12.
At the ceremony, Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock, and Irrigation, U Min Naung, stated that this training program was launched to enhance human resources in livestock production and animal healthcare to further develop the country's livestock sector. He congratulated all successful trainees and emphasized that job appointment letters were being issued to enable them to contribute to nation and and the livestock breeders.
Following this, the Union Minister presented excellence awards to outstanding trainees. The Director-General of the Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department then handed over the job appointment letters, which were received by a representative of the trainees.
Earlier in the morning, the Director-General of the Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department and the Principal of the Training School awarded diploma certificates to all trainees.
The one-year Diploma in Veterinary Science is open to university graduates with science majors and covers 15 subjects, including animal disease prevention, control, and veterinary treatment. The training consists of nine months of theoretical study and three months of fieldwork. This first batch of the program had 65 trainees, all of whom have now been appointed as Deputy Staff Officer in the Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department.Â
