GIS Layer: Upgrading Data For Heritage Cities

Three ancient Pyu Cities have been inscribed on the World Heritage List in 2014. In order to update the definitions of heritage zone including civil buildings, development projects, land utilization and population growth during five years period till 2019, GIS Layer upgrading tasks will be carried out in these three ancient cities.

The Department of Archaeology and National Museum is conducting the GIS Layer information in Sri Ksetra Ancient City staring this month.
